ABA Book Buyer's Handbook Update for the Week of September 23

Below is a list of the most significant recent changes to the ABA Book Buyer's Handbook online.

Booksellers are strongly encouraged to alert ABA of changing terms that come to their attention. Publishers are asked to inform ABA immediately of any changes to terms and contact information.

A form is available at http://handbook.bookweb.org/form.jsp that booksellers and publishers can use to report changing terms.

The association is currently testing the Publisher Administration section of the Handbook site, which will allow publishers to view and edit their listings online. When the test is complete, all companies currently in the Handbook will receive a letter that will include their company access code.

Recent changes that have been made to the ABA Book Buyer’s Handbook online:

AOL Time Warner Book Group has updated general information for Harry N. Abrams, Inc., Hyperion, Hyperion Books for Children, Little, Brown and Company, Microsoft Press, and Warner Books. (For Little, Brown and Company, this includes the addition of an address for Mass Market stripped cover returns to: AOL Time Warner Book Group, c/o WPS/Time Customer Service, Book Returns Division, 3000 University Center Dr., Tampa, FL 33612.)

Drawn & Quarterly is now being distributed by Chronicle Books.

Diamond Comic Distributors, Inc. has begun distribution of Ablaze Media Ltd., AdHouse Books, Mongoose Publishing, Oblagon Inc., and Sky-Dog Comics.
