The Southern California Booksellers Association (SCBA) is offering a one-year free membership to all members of the disbanding Southern California Children's Booksellers Association (SCCBA) who are not currently members of SCBA.

This Saturday, May 13, the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association (NCIBA) is inviting Bay Area readers to attend the first "Bay Area Independent Bookstore Tasting." The independent bookstore tour was organized as a way to celebrate the role that booksellers play in their communities and in the Bay Area.

On Wednesday, April 26, at the Westford Regency Hotel & Conference Center in Westford, Massachusetts, the American Booksellers Association held a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in conjunction with the New England Booksellers Association (NEBA).

On Thursday, April 20, about 20 booksellers attended an American Booksellers Association Booksellers Forum and Education Program, held at the Holiday Inn Carrier Circle in Syracuse, New York. The event was held in conjunction with the New Atlantic Independent Booksellers Association's NAIBAhood Gathering and Shoptalk.

On Wednesday, April 26, American Booksellers Association CEO Avin Mark Domnitz and COO Oren Teicher will be at the Westford Regency Hotel & Conference Center in Westford, Massachusetts, for a Booksellers Forum and Education Program to be held in conjunction with the New England Booksellers Association.

On Saturday, April 8, about 35 booksellers attended an American Booksellers Association Booksellers Forum and Education Program, held at the Iowa House Hotel on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, Iowa. The event was held in conjunction with the Midwest Booksellers Association (MBA) Spring Meeting.

On Tuesday, April 4, at the Hilton Waterfront Hotel in Huntington Beach, the American Booksellers Association held a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in conjunction with the Southern California Booksellers Association's (SCBA) Spring Meeting. Nearly 50 booksellers from the region attended.

The American Booksellers Association invites bookstore owners and staff in the Midwest region to a Booksellers Forum and Education Program on Saturday, April 8, at the University of Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City, Iowa.

On Sunday, April 2, at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, the American Booksellers Association held a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in conjunction with the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association's (NCIBA) Spring Gathering. About 85 booksellers from the region attended.

On Wednesday, March 29, the American Booksellers Association held a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in conjunction with the Great Lakes Booksellers Association (GLBA) at the Hilton Garden Inn in Dublin, Ohio. At the event, which was attended by approximately 50 booksellers, ABA presented two educational sessions followed by the Booksellers Forum.

California booksellers are invited to an ABA Booksellers Forum and Education Program in San Francisco and Huntington Beach on Sunday, April 2, and Tuesday, April 4, respectively. The programs are being held in conjunction with the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association's (NCIBA) Spring Gathering and the Southern California Booksellers Association (SCBA) Spring Meeting.

American Booksellers Association staff will be in Dublin, Ohio, next week to present a Booksellers Forum and Education Program. The event, on Wednesday, March 29, at the Hilton Garden Inn, is being held in conjunction with the Great Lakes Booksellers Association (GLBA) and is free and open to the owners and staff of ABA and GLBA member stores.

On Friday, March 17, at the Omni Hotel at the CNN Center in Atlanta, the American Booksellers Association held a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in conjunction with the Southern Independent Booksellers Alliance (SIBA) and the Spring Book Show, which was at the Georgia World Congress Center from March 17 to 19.
