Bestseller List Reporting Deadline Extended

Due to next week's Memorial Day holiday, the Book Sense Bestseller List reporting deadline will be extended.

Booksellers will have until midnight (11:00 p.m. for BookScan) on Tuesday, May 31, to report for next week's lists, which will be posted on BookWeb late on Wednesday.

ABA's 'Increasing Margin' a Success at NCIBA

On Wednesday, May 18, the Northern California Independent Booksellers Association (NCIBA) hosted a large group of booksellers for a preview of one of the courses in ABA's new education program developed for BookExpo America (BEA) 2005. There is still time for teams of booksellers to sign up for the BookSense.com/American Heritage Dictionaries Spelling Bee at BookExpo America. The event, to be held from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 4, in Room 1B 02-03-04 of the Javits Center, will be hosted by acclaimed author Myla Goldberg, whose novel Bee Season (Anchor) was a Book Sense Book of the Year finalist in 2001.
