Throughout May, students and readers are invited to join authors Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi for a virtual book club to discuss Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You. An educator curriculum is available for students and readers to download, and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions. The events will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET on May 6, May 13, May 20, and May 27. Readers can join the conversation on Zoom; the registration link is available now.
American Booksellers Association is a national trade association that supports and advocates for the success of independent bookstores. We provide members with education, networking opportunities, advocacy, resources, and technology. In turn our members support local schools through book fairs, donations and author visits; promote literacy; provide inclusive community centers; connect readers and books; add character to neighborhoods; champion and center diverse and new voices; and contribute to the local economy. We feel honored to support them in their work.
