ABA is continuing to prioritize transparency and clarity to better communicate with and serve members. To that end, the ABA Board has voted to propose five bylaws changes for membership approval.
Each ABA member bookstore is asked to vote on the following items. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, November 20.
Note: Only one vote per member bookstore will be accepted. Please ensure that you are the designated voter for your store before casting a vote.
American Booksellers Association is a national trade association that supports and advocates for the success of independent bookstores. We provide members with education, networking opportunities, advocacy, resources, and technology. In turn our members support local schools through book fairs, donations and author visits; promote literacy; provide inclusive community centers; connect readers and books; add character to neighborhoods; champion and center diverse and new voices; and contribute to the local economy. We feel honored to support them in their work.
