We are hiring a new Events Manager to lead and manage this vital part of our business, overseeing our incredible Author Events throughout the year. This dynamic position encompasses everything from planning to execution. The Events Manager will build relationships with authors, publishers, customers, and community partners.
We seek an experienced event planner with outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, meticulous follow-through, and a passion for hosting events.Book industry experience is highly preferred.
American Booksellers Association is a national trade association that supports and advocates for the success of independent bookstores. We provide members with education, networking opportunities, advocacy, resources, and technology. In turn our members support local schools through book fairs, donations and author visits; promote literacy; provide inclusive community centers; connect readers and books; add character to neighborhoods; champion and center diverse and new voices; and contribute to the local economy.
