Nominations are now being accepted to fill six empty seats on the Children’s Group Advisory Council (Children’s Council) with four seats going to bookstore owners and booksellers from NAIBA, NEIBA, MIBA, and GLIBA to fill the empty seats and ensure overall regional representation of the council.

The Children’s Council serves as a sounding board and advisory council on issues facing the children’s bookselling community and ABA. The Children's Council meets three times a year with one in-person meeting the day after the end of Children’s Institute. Bookstore owners and Booksellers are invited to nominate others or themselves. Those who have previously served on the Children’s Council are not eligible.

Nominations are due by 11:59 pm ET on August 14, 2024.
