Winter Institute Registration to Open September 13

Registration for the American Booksellers Association’s 12th annual Winter Institute (Wi12) is set to open next Tuesday, September 13, around mid-day EDT. The institute will be held from Friday, January 27, through Monday, January 30, 2017, in Minneapolis.

ABA members should watch for an e-mail to arrive in their inboxes on Tuesday with a link to the Winter Institute website. The site will provide complete event details, a registration form, and a hotel reservation form.

Registration and hotel reservations for the institute always sell out quickly, so booksellers who want to attend Wi12 are strongly encouraged to register and book a room as soon as possible. Event registration is $119 per person and is capped at three booksellers per member company.

Registration for some pre-Winter Institute programming and special offerings during the event will open on November 1. Below is a look at 2017’s extras and add-ons; some require an additional fee.
