Still Time to Schedule an Advocacy Appointment for BookExpo 2017

A reminder to booksellers attending next week’s BookExpo in New York City: David Grogan, the American Booksellers Association’s director of public policy and advocacy, will be at the show to discuss any advocacy issues of concern with booksellers, including health care, swipe fees, minimum wage, access to capital, or other public policy issues impacting their business.

Appointments for the meetings, which will take place in the ABA Member Lounge (Booth 721 on the Javits Convention Center’s trade show floor), are available during the following hours:

  • Wednesday, May 31, between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, June 1, between 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
  • Friday, May 30, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

To make an appointment, send an e-mail indicating your preferred meeting date and time to Grogan by noon ET on Thursday, May 25.
