Sign Up for Two Upcoming ABA Marketing Meetups

All American Booksellers Association member booksellers are invited to participate in two upcoming bookseller-led educational conversations, which will be held via Zoom.us from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EST on Thursday, January 17, and Thursday, January 31.

The January 17 Marketing Meetup will focus on marketing your bookstore in a tourist town and will look at the following topics:

  • Marketing campaigns to run during the busy season to maximize that time
  • Marketing campaigns to run during the non-busy season to lead up to busier times
  • Partnerships with local businesses
  • How digital marketing (via website, social media, or other services) comes into play
  • Getting featured in local tourist brochures and/or hotels

The January 31 Marketing Meetup will look at marketing through Instagram.

The session will cover what and when to post; paying for Instagram ads; selling through Instagram; tracking analytics; and benefits to marketing on Instagram.
