Jonathan StolperAs BookScan continues its migration to NPD’s DecisionKey®, an online suite of data delivery and analysis tools, booksellers are encouraged to sign up for a 30-minute demo to learn more about the new platform.

NPD Book, in partnership with the American Booksellers Association, is offering a set of demonstrations led by NPD Book President Jonathan Stolper to illustrate how to access and interpret the insight provided to booksellers through the new NPD BookScan.

Booksellers should have received new login details from NPD that will allow them to access the improved platform, which offers bigger and better reports with more details and features.

Each demo will cover the same information, so booksellers need only register to attend one. Demos will take place on three Thursdays in October. The first took place October 4, and the remainder are scheduled as follows:

Participating booksellers will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of each demonstration.

BookScan, which represents approximately 85 percent of print trade book sales in a typical week, provides essential information booksellers need to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive retail book market. Booksellers are encouraged to sign up for a demo now.

Booksellers can contact the NPD helpdesk to receive access to DecisionKey.
