Reservations for Winter Institute Bookstore Tours Open November 1

Booksellers and international guests at Winter Institute 12 (Wi12) will have the opportunity to experience the rich literary culture of Minneapolis on four bookstore/publisher tours set for Friday, January 27, 2017. Reservations for the two full-day and two half-day tours will open on November 1. Space is limited and is expected to sell out.

The cost per person is $35 for the full-day tours and $25 for the half-day tours.

All tours will start and end at the Wi12 host hotel, the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. The full-day tours, which will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m, will visit a publisher and seven bookstores; the half-day tours, from 11:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., will visit a publisher and four stores.

Stores participating in the Wi12 bookstore/publishers tours include Common Good Books, Daybreak Press Global Bookshop, Magers & Quinn Booksellers, Micawber’s Books, Moon Palace Books, Once Upon a Crime, Red Balloon Bookshop, SubText Books, Wild Rumpus Books for Young Readers, and Open Book/Milkweed Books. The selection and order of the tour stops will vary.
