President Barack Obama to Appear at Winter Institute

The American Booksellers Association announced today that President Barack Obama, an avid supporter of independent bookstores and bestselling author of the recent memoir A Promised Land (Crown), will open the 2021 Winter Institute with a personal video message to independent booksellers.
Winter Institute will be held virtually from Thursday, February 18, through Saturday, February 20. Registration is open now; the deadline to register is Friday, January 29.
