Ordering Underway for Independent Bookstore Day T-Shirts

Planning for next year’s Independent Bookstore Day (IBD), which will be held Saturday, April 28, is underway, and ordering is now open for the official 2018 Independent Bookstore Day T-shirts.

The new IBD T-shirts feature a design by award-winning author and illustrator Carson Ellis. Ellis is the author and illustrator of the Caldecott honor picture book Du Iz Tak? (Candlewick, 2016) and Home (Candlewick, 2015), as well as the illustrator for numerous other titles and series, including The Mysterious Benedict Society (Little, Brown Books for Young Readers) and The Wildwood Chronicles (Balzer + Bray).

T-shirt orders can be placed through November 9 on Bonfire.com. Shirts are available in multiple colors in unisex, women’s, and children’s styles; wholesale prices for the shirts are $14 for unisex, $14 for women’s, and $12 for kids’, plus a $5 flat-rate shipping fee. Stores are free to establish their own retail prices. Orders will start shipping November 16.

Tote bags, which will also feature the official design by Ellis, will be available on Bonfire.com soon.
