This fall at the regional trade shows, the American Booksellers Association will present an education session on “Maximizing Backlist: Proven Ways to Market, Promote, and Sell Backlist Titles.”

The new education session will focus on how backlist titles with proven track records can be as important as frontlist titles in store sales and profitability. The session will be co-led by ABA senior staff and Board members and will include a discussion of advantageous backlist terms now being offered by some publishers as well as best practices for successfully managing stores’ cash flow and return on investment.
