Know Before You Go: Check Out ABA’s Code of Conduct

American Booksellers Association logoEarlier this year, the American Booksellers Association announced the establishment of a new code of conduct for all association meetings and events, which is available under the “Policies” heading on the About ABA page on BookWeb.org.

As the 2019 Winter Institute approaches, attendees are reminded to review the code of conduct. The code will also be prominently posted onsite along with contact information. Code violations can be reported to an ABA staff member or e-mailed to [email protected].

All ABA member stores are invited to adapt the code to use for their own events. As the code is a work in progress, ABA also encourages booksellers to provide feedback about it, which may result in additions and or changes to the document. Booksellers with questions or comments about the code can contact ABA CEO Oren Teicher.

Visit the About ABA page on BookWeb now to review the code of conduct.

Winter Institute is a professional development conference open to registered attendees only; this is not a public event.
