June, Audio & Paperback Deadlines

Tomorrow, Friday, April 7, is the deadline for nominations for the June Book Sense Picks list.

And there are two additional nomination deadlines this month:

• Friday, April 14, for the Book Sense Picks Audiobooks Top Ten, and
• Friday, April 21, for the Summer Paperback Picks.

Nominations may be sent through an easy-to-use online nomination form or via e-mail to [email protected].

"Audio is becoming an increasingly popular inventory offering for independent booksellers' customers, so we are hoping to compile as strong a list as possible," said Book Sense Picks Editor-in-Chief Dan Cullen. "Please, do send in your favorites, with just a few sentences about why each is a great offering in its audio format."

The Paperbacks Picks list offers readers a wealth of wonderful selections, and it provides booksellers with a great marketing tool featuring a broad and rich selection in trade paperback.

"As you think about nominations, don't forget the many staff picks or newsletter and website blurbs you already have on hand, for they make great nominations," said Cullen. The nominated titles can be Book Sense titles that are coming out in paper or titles that have not yet been nominated for a Book Sense list.
