The American Booksellers Association will hold a virtual version of its Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, June 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET. The Annual Meeting will be followed by the Town Hall, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET, which provides booksellers with the opportunity to express their opinions and concerns and to share ideas with ABA Board members and staff in a less formal setting.
A link to join the meeting will be sent to ABA member booksellers ahead of the event; publishers will be sent a link via which to watch the livestreamed event. Watch BTW for more details.
In addition, booksellers and publishers are encouraged to stick around after the Town Hall to watch the Publishers Weekly 2020 Bookstore of the Year Award ceremony for Porter Square Books.
Booksellers can submit Town Hall questions or comments ahead of time at firstname.lastname@example.org. During the meeting, questions will be invited through the meeting’s Q&A interface.
