Discount Shipping Program Offers Savings on International Shipments

As the U.S. Postal Service contemplates sweeping changes to its International Mail services, which might have serious effects on overseas book sales, PartnerShip wants to remind ABA members that the ABA Discount Shipping Program remains a viable alternative for all of their international shipping needs.

Through the American Booksellers Association affinity program administered by PartnerShip, www.partnership.com, members are eligible to save 18 percent on all global shipments with select FedEx Express services. Enrollment is the ABA Discount Shipping Program is free.

And, notes PartnerShip, ABA members active in the program each saved an average of more than $3,300 last year using this free benefit.

A range of discounted FedEx select services are provided through enrollment in the ABA Discount Shipping Program. In addition, the ABA Discount Shipping Program offers less than truckload (LTL) discounted services of up to 63 percent with UPS Freight and up to 62 percent with Yellow Freight.
