Booksellers Invited to Join Exclusive Cover Reveal for Eoin Colfer’s “Highfire”

At 12:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, August 21, indie booksellers across the nation will unveil the book jacket for Eoin Colfer’s Highfire as part of a widespread cover reveal coordinated by HarperCollins in partnership with the American Booksellers Association.

Highfire, the first standalone adult novel from the bestselling author of the kids’ sci-fi/fantasy series Artemis Fowl, will be published by Harper Perennial on January 28, 2020; as part of the cover reveal initiative, booksellers can invite customers to pre-order the book through their stores.

This is the second indie-exclusive cover reveal with HarperCollins, following the reveal of Adam Silvera’s Infinity Son earlier this month.

Booksellers can sign up here to participate in the Highfire cover reveal. Harper Perennial will provide digital assets, suggested copy, and hashtags to participating stores to help them easily spread the message.

On Wednesday, August 21, booksellers who have signed up will get the final cover and pre-order graphics at 9:00 a.m. EDT.

Stores should plan to share the final cover on social media between noon and 3:00 p.m. on August 21. Posts will be supported by both Colfer and the Harper Perennial team.
