With the Book Sense Gift Card Program in full swing, and the holiday season just around the corner, booksellers participating in the program should note that important updated information is available at the Book Sense Gift Card Web page at http://www.bookweb.org/read/6303.

One significant update to the page is the new gift card operational and technical manuals. Once at the gift card page, under the heading "Getting Started With the Gift Card Program," simply click on "Operational and Technical Manuals." The manuals are password protected so you will need to enter in your BookWeb user name and password. It is highly recommended that anyone participating in, or considering participating in, the program explore the WebPOS option for the most cost-effective way to process the cards.

Manuals for the IVR (Interactive Voice Response or telephone), the En-Touch 3000, Elite 510, Magtek Magstripe Mini Wedge, and the administrative Web site users guide have been posted for your reference.

Booksellers, who are considering joining the Book Sense National Gift Card program before the end of the year, can still order generic cards for delivery by early December.
