Biblio is extending a limited-time offer to indie booksellers who join the Biblio community before January 31, 2014. In addition to commission-free orders with no monthly fee on millions of used, rare, and out-of-print books, stores that sign up before the end of this month will receive a $50 BiblioBucks bonus to use in purchasing books through Biblio. The special offer is open only to bookstores that have not been active Biblio members in the past 90 days.

To qualify for commission-free dealer-to-dealer transactions, sellers must offer a minimum five percent trade discount to their fellow booksellers.

ABA teamed up with Biblio last fall to offer an affiliate program that enables member stores to give their website visitors instant access to used, rare, and out-of-print books from more than 5,000 independent booksellers worldwide. Bookstores link to Biblio’s inventory through a banner placed in their website sidebar and the bookstore receives an eight percent commission (maximum $20) on every order placed on Biblio.com through their website banner.

To take advantage of the BiblioBucks offer, booksellers must complete the application process and activate their account by January 31 through the Biblio Independence webpage; maintain an average inventory count of at least 250 print books for the first three months; update or upload their Biblio inventory once a week for three months; maintain an active account status for at least 90 percent of that three month period; remain a bookseller in good standing by adhering to a bookseller agreement; and offer a five percent trade discount.

After three months of membership, booksellers will receive their $50 BiblioBucks gift certificate as an anniversary gift.
