April 6 Voting Deadline for Indies Choice, E.B. White Read-Aloud Awards

Midnight on Wednesday, April 6, is the deadline for ABA member booksellers to cast their ballots to choose the winners of the 2016 Indies Choice Book Awards and the E.B. White Read-Aloud Awards. One ballot from each staff person at an ABA member store will be accepted, and the winners will be announced on April 13.

All of this year’s winners and finalists will be invited to the American Booksellers Association’s Celebration of Bookselling and Author Awards Lunch on May 12 at BookExpo America.

Up to three booksellers per ABA member store location can make a reservation for the Celebration lunch. Space at this popular, free event is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis until April 29 or the event reaches capacity, whichever comes first.

Table assignments will be sent to booksellers via e-mail the week of May 2. Questions about the lunch should be addressed to ABA Development Officer Mark Nichols.
