Following the annual staff review process, the American Booksellers Association is announcing four important staff changes.

Joining the ABA Senior Staff team, composed of ABA staff who are leaders and decision-makers in their departments, are IndieCommerce Senior Manager Geetha Nathan and Senior Membership Manager Daniel O’Brien.

In addition, Program and Development Coordinator Jessica Stauffer is now ABA’s Program Manager, and Advocacy & Public Policy Coordinator Molly Bond is now Advocacy & Public Policy Manager. Stauffer’s recent work includes substantial oversight of virtual events programming, and Bond has been integral in tracking COVID relief opportunities for booksellers as well as implementing a new system to help booksellers more effectively and easily contact their local representatives.

“I know any good news lifts us all up this year, so I’m happy to share some good news here at ABA,” said ABA CEO Allison Hill. “Congratulations to Jess and Molly on their new titles. Both of them stepped up in significant ways this year, warranting titles more reflective of their many contributions. And congratulations to Geetha and Daniel for their promotions to the ABA senior staff team. Members of this team are key contributors to the top line, the bottom line, the culture, and the direction of ABA. Geetha and Daniel have consistently contributed in these ways, and I look forward to having their valuable voices on this team.”
