The Independent Publishers Caucus is an advocacy group with a mission to foster a true and mutually beneficial sense of community among independent publishers, between publishers and booksellers, and with readers through a variety of initiatives and shared resources. This meeting is open to all independent publishers and their staff. The schedule will be as follows:

1-2pm: Book Media & Marketing Panel with local Seattle media and reviewers

2-3pm: Bookstore Events & Programs Panel with bookseller experts

3-4pm: Indie Press Town Hall with the IPC Steering Committee

About ABA

American Booksellers Association is a national trade association that supports and advocates for the success of independent bookstores. We provide members with education, networking opportunities, advocacy, resources, and technology. In turn our members support local schools through book fairs, donations and author visits; promote literacy; provide inclusive community centers; connect readers and books; add character to neighborhoods; champion and center diverse and new voices; and contribute to the local economy. We feel honored to support them in their work.
