Local Voter Engagement: A Conversation with ABA and League of Women Voters

Local Voter Engagement: A Conversation with ABA and League of Women Voters (July 25, 2024)

Presented by ABA and the League of Women Voters (LWV), “Local Voter Engagement in 2024 and Beyond” was designed to help independent bookstores mobilize and empower voters in their communities.

As we approach the 2024 election, consider taking some of these steps to help your community prepare:
  • Create store displays with titles about the history of voting and democracy.
  • Remind customers of the deadline to register to vote in your state.
  • Encourage customers and employees to sign up to work the polls.
  • Share ABA’s Vote411 page with your customers! This page has tools to help readers register to vote, check their registration, or find out what’s on their ballot.
