Idea Exchange: You’re Speaking My Language: Sourcing and Selling Books in Foreign Languages Frank Lloyd Wright Salon I

If your inventory is primarily English language titles, carrying books in other languages is an opportunity to drive sales and make your store more inclusive. But knowing where to begin when sourcing foreign language books can be overwhelming. In this session, bookstores that sell children’s books in languages other than English will share resources, best practices for ordering, and how to best merchandise these books so that they are discoverable in a bookstore.

Panelists: Nina Sanchez, 51st Ward Books (Chicago, IL); Elisa Thomas, ABA (White Plains, NY)
