Listening is Reading: Audiobooks, Literacy & Accessibility Frank Lloyd Wright Salon G

Listening comprehension begins very early in a child’s development and reading aloud to young ones can ignite a love of reading as kids get older, but not everyone develops at the same pace. In this session, booksellers will learn how audiobooks can aid reading comprehension and assist with literacy and other learning skills. Panelists will offer practical solutions on how to market audiobooks to customers and how to drive sales.

Panelists: Cathy Berner, Blue Willow Bookshop (Houston, TX); Amanda Ackley, The Bookmatters (Cincinnati, OH); Jody Everett, Bean Bag Books (Delaware, OH)
