Booksellers can apply for a Children's Institute scholarship by completing the form below. Scholarships are open to booksellers from ABA member stores that did not have a Children's Institute scholarship winner in 2018 or 2019. Deadline is Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at 5:00 pm ET. (This form may be submitted once per person.)

ABA is committed to awarding scholarships to booksellers from all backgrounds. We encourage booksellers who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and/or neurodivergent as well as booksellers with disabilities to apply. We aim to make Children’s Institute as welcoming and inclusive as possible. To assist the scholarship awarding process, we invite you to share what informs your experience as a bookseller, whether in terms of race, class, gender, sexual identity, physical ability, cultural background, or in some other way, and why you feel you should be awarded a scholarship to Children’s Institute.
