Stores with Book Sense will be receiving the Spring - Summer 2008 Book Sense Reading Group Picks list in the May Red Box mailing; however, the full list, with bookseller quotes, can be previewed online now.
Billed as "indispensable guides to stylishly unique, locally owned eating and shopping," the eat.shop series is a natural for the independent bookstore customer. The guides, created by Kaie Wellman and self-published under her imprint Cabazon Books, have a stand-out, simple design, and highlight about 90 local restaurants and shops in each of 20 city guides.

 The American Booksellers Association Lounge at BookExpo America -- Room 515A in the West Building of the Los Angeles Convention Center -- will be the place for member booksellers to go for autographs from some of their favorite authors. To date, 20 authors are scheduled to appear in the lounge on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31.
