This is an opportunity for Board members to hear from members. The Board is responsible for listening to members and futurecasting to inform ABA’s ends policies (https://bookweb.org/about/govern/ends), the overall goals for the organization. The Board reviews the ends policies every summer. ABA Board Office Hours are an opportunity for the Board to hear from members about what they're concerned about for the future of their stores and what is missing from the current ends policies that members believe is needed to guide ABA to meet their needs. (For questions about ABA operations please contact [email protected] or watch for ABA Staff Office Hours)
For events requiring registration, registration links are visible to logged-in, ABA bookseller members only.

American Booksellers Association is a national trade association that supports and advocates for the success of independent bookstores. We provide members with education, networking opportunities, advocacy, resources, and technology. In turn our members support local schools through book fairs, donations and author visits; promote literacy; provide inclusive community centers; connect readers and books; add character to neighborhoods; champion and center diverse and new voices; and contribute to the local economy. We feel honored to support them in their work.
