Gathering Customer Input on the Picks

Booksellers in the Book Sense program are reminded that the March and April Book Sense Picks fliers will contain a short consumer survey designed to solicit important feedback regarding the Picks program.

As an incentive, consumers who complete the survey will be eligible to win all 20 titles featured in either the March or the April Picks fliers. One winner will be chose at random in both March and April, and each winner will be notified by Book Sense that he or she has won.

Registration Open for BEA Prospective Booksellers School

The popular ABA-sponsored Booksellers School for prospective and novice booksellers will be presented at BookExpoAmerica (BEA) 2005 in New York, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. The school, which has helped hundreds of new booksellers learn the fundamentals of the business, will run from Wednesday, June 1 - Friday, June 3, and includes free admission to the trade show, which runs from June 2 - 5.

Inaugural ABA/SEBA Program at Bargain Book Show a Success

On Friday, February 25, in Atlanta's Renaissance Concourse Hotel, ABA presented a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in conjunction with the Southeast Booksellers Association (SEBA) and Bargain Books News' Spring Book Show, which was held from Friday through Sunday at the Georgia International Convention Center.
