Black Booksellers and bookstore owners are invited to join a call to share ideas for future sessions; needs for ABA services, programming, and general support; and questions with ABA CEO Allison Hill, ABA COO Joy Dallangera-Sanger, and ABA Director of Membership Ryan Quinn.

The ABA team will attend from 7:30pm EST to 8:00pm EST, and the Black Bookseller Meetup will then continue until 9:00pm EST with a bookseller acting as host.

Booksellers interested in attending should visit their Member Dashboard and join through the Email Subscriptions tab. Meeting details are emailed the morning of each meeting; if you are joining for the first time, please be sure to join the email list at least twenty-four hours beforehand. Don't have a login? Request one here.

This space is for booksellers who identify as Black. Allies should not plan to attend.

For events requiring registration, registration links are visible to logged-in, ABA bookseller members only.

About ABA

American Booksellers Association is a national trade association that supports and advocates for the success of independent bookstores. We provide members with education, networking opportunities, advocacy, resources, and technology. In turn our members support local schools through book fairs, donations and author visits; promote literacy; provide inclusive community centers; connect readers and books; add character to neighborhoods; champion and center diverse and new voices; and contribute to the local economy. We feel honored to support them in their work.
