BIPOC — Black, Indigenous, or People of Color — booksellers and bookstore owners are invited to join a call to discuss their needs, questions, general support and share ideas for future ABA services and programming, with CEO Allison Hill, ABA COO Joy Dallangera-Sanger, ABA Senior Membership Manager Daniel O’Brien, and DEIA Member Relations Manager Elisa Thomas. The ABA team will attend from 7:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., and the BIPOC Forum will continue until 8:30 p.m. ET. Booksellers interested in attending should visit their Member Dashboard and join through Email Subscriptions. Don't have a login? Request one here.
BIPOC allies and booksellers who do not identify as BIPOC should not plan to attend. We appreciate your help maintaining the BIPOC meet-up as a closed space for BIPOC booksellers and BIPOC bookstore owners only.
For events requiring registration, registration links are visible to logged-in, ABA bookseller members only.

American Booksellers Association is a national trade association that supports and advocates for the success of independent bookstores. We provide members with education, networking opportunities, advocacy, resources, and technology. In turn our members support local schools through book fairs, donations and author visits; promote literacy; provide inclusive community centers; connect readers and books; add character to neighborhoods; champion and center diverse and new voices; and contribute to the local economy. We feel honored to support them in their work.
