The ABA Member Lounge is the place to relax, refresh, and meet with friends and business partners. Located in Booth 2962, in the UnBound section on the trade show floor, the lounge offers a galley room, special post-author breakfast signings, much-needed chairs, refreshments, and more.

Booksellers will also have the opportunity to meet with a number of ABA staff members, including but not limited to Dave Grogan and Maria Peroni of ABA’s Advocacy/ABFE team, Lisa Winn of ABA’s education department, Gen de Botton of the ABC Children’s Group at ABA, Daniel O’Brien and Liz Roberts of ABA’s membership team, and ABA CFO Robyn DesHotel, as well as representatives from ABA’s Diversity Task Force and from the LIBRIS insurance program.
The American Booksellers Association, a national not-for-profit trade organization, works with booksellers and industry partners to ensure the success and profitability of independently owned book retailers, and to assist in expanding the community of the book.
Independent bookstores act as community anchors; they serve a unique role in promoting the open exchange of ideas, enriching the cultural life of communities, and creating economically vibrant neighborhoods.
