ABA Member Lounge at BookExpo

The ABA Member Lounge is the place to relax, refresh, and meet with friends and business partners. Located in Booth 2962, in the UnBound section on the trade show floor, the lounge offers a galley room, special post-author breakfast signings, much-needed chairs, refreshments, and more.

Lounge hours:

• Wednesday, May 29, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday, May 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and from 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (closed for the ABA Town Hall and Annual Meeting)
• Friday, May 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Special events taking place in the Lounge:

• Breakfast Authors Signing (Thursday, May 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)
• Breakfast Authors Signing (Friday, May 31, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)
• Happy Hour Signing with select Indies Introduce authors and Indies Choice Book Award winners (Thursday, May 30, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
• IndieCommerce one-on-ones (same as Lounge hours) 
• POS and board-led roundtable conversations

Booksellers will also have the opportunity to meet with a number of ABA staff members, including but not limited to Dave Grogan and Maria Peroni of ABA’s Advocacy/ABFE team, Lisa Winn of ABA’s education department, Gen de Botton of the ABC Children’s Group at ABA, Daniel O’Brien and Liz Roberts of ABA’s membership team, and ABA CFO Robyn DesHotel, as well as representatives from ABA’s Diversity Task Force and from the LIBRIS insurance program.
