Wanted: Paperback Picks Nominations

The Book Sense team sends a very big thank-you to hundreds of booksellers who have shared their nominations for all the Book Sense lists that have recently gone into production. Currently, we are completing the Audiobooks Top Ten, the D-Day/World War II History Top Ten, and the June Book Sense Picks list, and we will soon go into high gear on the Children's Picks list. All will be very strong lists, based on the enthusiasm and insight from independent booksellers nationwide.

There is another key Book Sense deadline tomorrow. Nominations for the Summer Paperback Book Sense Picks list are due by Friday, April 16. Booksellers have frequently related how important trade paperbacks are to their sales, and how effective this list is for a key selling season. Please, do help make this list as valuable as it can be by sharing your passionate recommendations for upcoming titles in paper. (The nominated titles can be Book Sense Picks that are coming out in paper or titles that have not yet been selected.)

The Summer Paperback List is a great opportunity to use the many staff picks recommendations or newsletter title recommendations that you already have on hand. These make great Book Sense nominations!
