Saturday, November 10, marked the beginning of the weeklong celebration of Love Your Bookstore, a new retail holiday that will continue through the newly extended deadline of Sunday, November 18. All week, readers nationwide are taking part in the #LoveYourBookstore challenge, which asks participants to simply snap a picture with the book they are most excited to gift or receive this holiday season and post it with the tag #loveyourbookstore on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Participants are automatically entered to win tons of bookish prizes.

The founding sponsors of Love Your Bookstore are Sourcebooks, Publishers Weekly, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Penguin Random House, HarperCollins, Abrams, LitHub, Grove Atlantic, the Children’s Book Council, BookCon, and Libro.fm.
