Ingram Publisher Services Adds Three New Clients

Ingram Publisher Services Inc., the distribution company of Ingram Content Group Inc., has added three new publisher clients to its roster of publisher partners: Triple Crown Publications (TCP), a publisher of urban and hip-hop literature; Ooligan Press, a teaching press of Portland State University; and Overdue Media, the publisher of the library comic Unshelved.


Consortium Announces New Distribution Clients

Consortium Book Sales & Distribution (Consortium), a member of the Perseus Books Group, has signed distribution arrangements with four new publishers, which begin for the spring 2010 season: Enchanted Lion Books, Child Heroes Publishing, LoudMouth Press, and Nicolo Whimsey Press. As of January 1, 2010, books from these four indie publishers will be available through Consortium.


Special Promo From HarperCollins Expands Newsletter Co-op

HarperCollins Publishers is expanding its Newsletter co-op policy in a special retail promotion through June 30, 2010:

  • A retailer may earn an additional $500 per bill to above the normal $1000 maximum
  • Each title can earn a maximum of $50
  • Adult and Children's titles are included
  • Titles must appear in store newsletters, fliers, on-line features or other electronic media programs approved by HarperCollins Publishers
  • Titles must include an image of the cover and/or a title description to qualify
  • All titles must be promoted by June 30, 2010
  • Claims must be submitted within 90 days of promotion date

Chronicle Books Names New Publishing Director

Chronicle Books, based in San Francisco, announces that Lorena Jones has been named publishing director, with responsibility for initiating a digital food and drink-publishing program and for overseeing Chronicle's food and drink list as a whole. Jones was the former publisher of Ten Speed Press.
