Monday Deadline for Best of Book Sense

Monday, February 16, is the last day to submit ballots for the Best of Book Sense. By voting, booksellers will automatically be entered into a random drawing to win a grand prize of five nights' accommodations and admission to BookExpo America for the next five years or one of four other prizes. Participation is open to all employees of ABA member bookstores.

ABA must receive electronic and faxed ballots to choose the top Book Sense 76 titles of the last five years in both Adult and Children's categories by February 16. Mail-in ballots for the Best of Book Sense had to be postmarked by Monday, February 9.

Ballots to choose the top 15 adult titles and the top 10 children's titles from all Top Ten titles on the Book Sense 76 lists published since the program began in September 1999 are online at www.bookweb.org/read/6665.

The Best of Book Sense project is part of ABA's celebrations of the fifth birthday of the Book Sense marketing program. The titles selected by booksellers as the Best of Book Sense, as well as the winners of the Bookseller Contest, will be announced at this year's BookExpo America in Chicago from June 2 - 6.
