Last week, Bookselling This Week noted the opening in July of three new independent bookstores -- The Spotty Dog Books & Ale in Hudson, New York; Bridge Street Bookshop in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; and Read Between the Lynes in Woodstock, Illinois.
