The list of newspapers, magazines, and Web sites carrying regional, national, and category Book Sense Bestseller Lists grows each month. Recently, these newspapers began featuring a regional list: Scranton, Pennsylvania's Scranton Times-Tribune (New England list); Fernandina Beach, Florida's News Leader (Southeast list); Ogden, Utah's Standard-Examiner (Mountains & Plains list); and Bandera, Texas' Bandera Bulletin (Mid-South list). The Scranton newspaper will also be featuring a category list, the Book Sense Business Bestseller List. And, Wolfeboro Falls, New Hampshire's Granite State News recently began featuring the national Book Sense Bestseller List.

The Sunday, February 15, edition of the Standard-Examiner featured the newest regional list, the Mountains & Plains Independent Bestseller List, which debuted in January. In approximately a quarter-page of coverage, featuring a prominent display of the Book Sense logo, the newspaper printed the complete regional Hardcover Fiction, Hardcover Nonfiction, Mass Market, and Children's Fiction & Illustrated lists. The introduction to the lists began, "The Standard-Examiner joins the growing number of newspapers to publish a regional bestseller list from Book Sense and the American Booksellers Association with today's debut of the Mountains & Plains Independent Bestseller List." The newspaper proceeded to inform readers about the category lists also published by Book Sense and stated that it would regularly publish the hardcover and nonfiction regional lists, with other lists included as space permits.
