Bestseller Reporting: BookScan Deadline Change for Memorial Day Weekend

Nielsen is requesting that BookScan stores transmit their files by the end of the day on Sunday, May 25, to assure that their data is collected over the Memorial Day weekend. The Bestseller reporting deadline will not change for stores reporting manually or by file upload.

The Bestseller Reporting area will be open for stores reporting by file upload or manual entry until 3:00 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, May 27,  for the seven-day period of Sunday, May 18, through Saturday, May 24.  

Bookstores that need to reach BookScan because the May 25 deadline is not possible, or for any other reason, should send an e-mail to USNECMerchantServices@nielsen.com

The Indie Bestseller List will be produced and e-mailed to stores on Tuesday, May 27. Bookselling This Week will arrive in inboxes from BookExpo America on Friday, May 30.
