2005 - 2004 ABA Financial Statements Available to Bookstore Members

The "American Booksellers Association, Inc. and Subsidiaries Consolidated Financial Statements and Schedules -- September 30, 2005 and 2004 (With Independent Auditors' Report Thereon)" are available to ABA bookstore members in PDF format on the association's trade site, BookWeb.org.

The audit was performed by KPMG LLP, which expressed the opinion that "the consolidated financial statements referred to ... present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of American Booksellers Association, Inc. and subsidiaries as of September 30, 2005 and 2004, and the changes in their net assets and their cash flows for the years then ended in conformity with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles."
