DIY materials for the upcoming Kobo Mother’s Day Promotion are now available in BookWeb’s Designs and Downloads. Each design features different aspects of the promotion to allow booksellers to choose the best fit for their stores.

The IndieCommerce team has successfully addressed security concerns related to the Heartbleed bug. However, the next step to further secure both IndieCommerce stores and their customers is to effect a password change.

This week, the IndieCommerce team took steps to address a recently discovered OpenSSL software problem, which has been dubbed Heartbleed. Heartbleed is likely the most severe vulnerability ever discovered in basic Internet security.

ABA's weekly Kobo e-mail newsletter is now the “Kobo: What You Need to Know” newsletter. It will be sent every two weeks to deliver high priority Kobo news while minimizing clutter in booksellers’ inboxes.

To address the Drupal 7 upgrade and its effects on all IndieCommerce stores, ABA is expanding in-person IndieCommerce education at next month’s BEA and is encouraging all stores to send their employees who are involved in website administration.

Five e-book promotions were recently added to the IndieCommerce Publisher Promotions page. Categories include cooking, titles by author Larry Brown, springtime activities, and gardening. 

The March 5 edition of the Kobo News & Updates newsletter included details of a new price drop on the Kobo Arc tablet, active eBook promos, and reminders about key contacts and the processing of revenue share.

Highlights from the IndieCommunication newsletter sent to participating stores on Monday, March 3, include an update on the Authorize.net CIM gateway upgrade, tips for order queue maintenance, and more.

Ten e-book promotions were recently added to the IndieCommerce Publisher Promotions page. Categories include adventure stories, book club fiction, historical romance, cooking, coming-of-age stories, gardening, and more. 

In order to receive rebates, participating bookstores must log into the Kobo Reporting Tool and submit supporting documentation for the Kobo Arc 7HD Valentine’s Day sale and for price protection on the Kobo Arc and Kobo Aura.
