New BookWeb Feature Shines Spotlight on Amazon

The new “Spotlight on Amazon” page under BookWeb’s Advocacy tab categorizes the information, ranging from economic studies to media reports, under headings such as “Amazon’s Business Practices,” “Amazon and Job Creation,” “Amazon and the Book Industry,” “Tax Avoidance and Government Subsidies,” and more. The page also features links to infographics from the Institute for Local Self-Reliance that stores can use to create striking visuals of Amazon’s effects on local businesses, jobs, taxes, and communities at large.
