This year, BookExpo is back in NYC with a reinvented show tailored to the needs of booksellers and we want you to join us. We even have a few discount offers to make it easier (details below).

Why You Need to Be at BookExpo

We’ve worked diligently with ABA to take your feedback and turn it in to something we know you’ll love: A focused professional environment for booksellers to discover new titles, engage with publishers and peers, and learn from an impressive slate of ABA programs.

Attendees and exhibitors will be more book industry-focused than ever, ensuring a show floor full of the people you want to meet and less clutter to cut through while you explore.

In addition to the marquee events where authors discuss the most anticipated titles, we’re excited to unveil panels that take on such issues of the day as creativity, diversity, free speech, politics, and more. Among the long list of authors you’ll hear from are Kwame Alexander, Ed Asner, Kenya Barris, Senator Al Franken, Savannah Gutherie, Scott Kelly, Owen and Stephen King, Marc Maron, Claire Messud, Lawrence O’Donnell, Jesmyn Ward, and more. These panels will facilitate thought-provoking conversation not only among authors, luminaries, and the media, but also, and more importantly, among booksellers like you who play a vital role in the community.

A preview of the programs custom made for booksellers can be found here.

Note Wednesday’s new schedule: It’s an action-packed day of can’t-miss ABA programming featuring the Celebration of Bookselling Lunch, the first of two Publicists Speed Dating events, and more.

Your Unique Experience

As our programming illustrates, you’ll experience tons of exciting things, breakout books will be crowned, blockbuster authors will take the stage, publishers will impress in their booths, ABA education will dive deep into the current issues in bookselling, and more.

But at its core, BookExpo is your place to make meaningful connections that better your business. Whether it’s meeting with a publisher, chatting with a peer in the ABA Lounge, an editor placing a sought-after galley in your hand, or meeting an author, this is your platform for enrichment.
