Children’s Institute Sold Out: Wait List Now Forming

Registration for the American Booksellers Association’s inaugural ABC Children’s Institute at BookExpo America is currently booked to capacity. ABA member booksellers interested in attending the full-day, June 6 event can add their names to the waiting list via a form on the Institute website.

If space opens up due to cancellations, ABA will contact booksellers on the waiting list on a first-come, first-served basis. The Kids’ Institute education program is free and open to all ABA members; registration is not required for those who wish to attend the education program only.

Tickets are still available for the Children’s Art Auction benefiting the American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression. The event, which is from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on June 6 at the Javits Center, is a great opportunity to buy wonderful art as well as socialize with friends from around the country. Light refreshments, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks will be served.

Tickets for the Children’s Art Auction and Reception are $95 ($75 for bookseller members of the ABC Children’s Group) and can be purchased here. Tickets purchased onsite will be $105 ($85 for ABC booksellers).
