The American Booksellers Association will be hosting a Booksellers Forum and Education Program in conjunction with two regional booksellers associations -- the Midwest Booksellers Association (MBA) and the Pacific Northwest Booksellers Association (PNBA) -- on Saturday, March 12, and Monday, March 14, respectively. All area bookstore owners and staff are encouraged to attend the events, which include a substantive educational component and an update on ABA programs and initiatives, as well as an opportunity to meet with association senior staff to ask questions and to offer comments. In addition, participants will get a broader perspective on how their individual stores fit into the larger book industry.

The ABA/MBA Booksellers Forum and Education Program will be held on this Saturday from 11:45 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomington, Minnesota. Educational sessions include "Human Resources/Benefits Input & Planning," sponsored by MBA, and ABA's "It's in the Payroll" and an ABACUS Workshop.
