Order your Indie Bookstore Day 2025 exclusives before the order form closes Friday, November 15 at 11:59 pm ET.

While the exclusives this year are intended for Indie Bookstore Day on April 26, their shelf life can also assist with other literary events throughout the year. 

Note that several exclusives are already either sold out or have low stock available. We encourage stores to order as soon as possible.

Check out the digital catalog for the complete list of paid and free exclusives along with price points, images, and available quantity. Please note that many items in the catalog have limits on how many your store can order so that as many stores as possible can offer exclusives. Additionally, T-shirts and apparel are available for purchase on demand on the Indie Bookstore Day Bonfire website.

There are two ways to participate* in Independent Bookstore Day:

• By purchasing the exclusives**. See below!
• To only be included on the searchable map without any purchases, sign-ups are open October 21, 2024–March 31, 2025.

*Independent Bookstore Day is open to those who are members of ABA, as well as their regional booksellers association.

**ABA is often contacted by media outlets to partner on Independent Bookstore Day coverage. We focus on sharing participating bookstores that will feature the exclusive items.

How To Order Exclusives:

• Order through the Independent Bookstore Day website.
• You must be a logged-in ABA member to access the form. If you do not know your login credentials please email [email protected]. 
• An Ingram Ship To Account number is required. You can set up an account at Ingram Onboarding.
• Be sure to provide the shipping address (it may be different from the billing address).
• If your store is in multiple locations, you must fill out a form for each store location (unless all ordered items can go to the main account’s location) or RDC.
• You must purchase a minimum of 20 paid items (individually or bulk packaged — bulk packaged items count as 1) in order to receive free shipping and the freebies like bookmarks, activity kits, and stickers. If you select less than 20 paid items, you will not be able to order the freebies and will pay the $6 flat shipping fee. Free items, Blackwing Pencils and T-shirts do not count towards the 20-item minimum.
• Due to supply chain issues we will not be changing orders after the closing date of November 15. 
• Independent Bookstore Day is open to those who are members of ABA, as well as their regional booksellers association.

Key Dates to Know:

• November 15, 2024: Indie Bookstore Day 2025 Exclusive Order Form closes
• March 31, 2025: Indie Bookstore Day 2025 Participation Form closes. (Stores that don’t want to order exclusive items can sign up to participate until this date.)
• April 4, 2025: Indie Bookstore Day Searchable Map goes live on IndieBound
• Early- to mid-April: All exclusives ship to bookstores
• April 21–25, 2025: Indie Bookstore Day Spirit Week
• April 26, 2025, the last Saturday in April: Independent Bookstore Day
