Independent Bookstore Day 2024 (for IC 1.0 and IL only)
For all participating stores IndieCommerce will be uploading the IBD exclusives to your IC 1.0 / IL websites early next week. We will follow up with a webinar on March/13/2024 and help documents. Stores are requested to attend the webinar to understand how best to use the feature on their site, it is meant to make it easier for stores. The IBD exclusives will be made available on participating IC 2.0 websites in a couple of weeks.
Upcoming changes to the FTP server (For both IC 1.0 and IC 2.0)
After many years of faithful service, our FTP server must be retired. We will be building and testing the new server in the coming month. The URL of the server will not change, but the passwords for all accounts will need to be changed as part of the server changeover. We will provide a new FTP password to those affected soon. We will inform you when the password needs to be changed. The password change then needs to be made, or automated LSI uploads will fail. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that a password change may cause, and would have avoided it if it were possible. - New FTP Server coming soon at the same URL
- New encryption standards require that all passwords be stored in a new format, so they must be reset
- Transition date to be announced
- Will need to change password for LSI via FTP the day before the cutover date to ensure uninterrupted delivery of LSI files
